preparing for the tour
Getting ready to go across the pond for 24 days can be intimidating. Luckily, the folks at Rick Steves provide you with a ton of helpful resources. I always read my guide book, take notes, and make detailed lists of items to be completed before I leave.
The guide book for this tour:I always read with a pencil in hand to mark sections and a stack of post it notes so i can add my own scribbles to come back later and research as the trip gets closer. |
Use the checklist in your pre-tour planning guidePractice packing - and remember that everything you pack will be carried on and off planes, trams, buses, trains, and up and down a lot of hotel stairs! do laundry instead of bringing more clothes!! |
my luggagei purchased the day bag off the rick steves site with the store stipend received when booking the trip. in addition to what was in this luggage i wore my jeans, hoodie, tennis shoes, and columbia fleece jacket on the plane. Wear anything bulky on your body instead of wasting luggage space! |
Best of Europe - 21 Days Tour
After countless hours of research I finally decided on my third trip across the pond and my second Rick Steves tour. This was the original tour that launched the entire Rick Steves enterprise.
I decided visiting six new countries in one trip was too wonderful of an opportunity to be missed! Here are the tour details: https://www.ricksteves.com/tours/europe/europe-21-days
